Medical By Dr Vijay Shah 23-Oct-2024Myself Dr Brijal Mistry (Lad), I have completed my education and internship in year 2008 from Shree Mahalaxmiji Mahila Homeopathic Medical college, Vadodara, Gujarat.
After Internship, I have started working as RMO under MD physician Dr Vinay Patel at Shraddha Hospital, Vapi for 4.5 years. Here i had good exposure to diff pathological and cardiac dz as well as management of emergency cases.
Along with job I was also doing my own practice in morning hours with my Cousin at Shivam clinic, Vapi. I was doing general practice i.e giving allopathic as well as homeopathic medicines to patients.
I was always keen to learn and practice homeopathy since I have passed out from college but never got good exposure and training under homeopath at vapi.
Then I got married in 2011 and moved to Borivali, few months after marriage joined Narendra Hospital, Borivali East under Dr Narendra Jain (MD phaysician), I have worked for 7 months there and left that place as I was learning nothing clinical there and just doing clerical work.
Then in Month of March 2012, I got reference from Dr Bhadra about Dr Vijay Shah and Mission to cure Homeopathic Clinic at Borivali west. And I came to meet sir and he gave me chance to learn homeopathy at M2C, I had joined Clinic as as a Junior Assistant doctor in April 2012. Since then I am working with Sir and Drs team now since past 12 years.
I was very happy and excited to work at M2C as it was my dream to work at professional clinic where I was given opportunity to learn and also practice homeopathy in a scientific way with panel of doctors working as a team and especially learning from Dr Vijay Shah about homeopathy.
Everything was new to me, initially it took few months to adapt with the software system at M2C. the software Disposition is too good, which makes all things easy for drs like recording patients data, information, reports, photos, for follow ups and most important looks professional. Everything was too professional at M2C, so I was amaze as I have never seen this kind of homeopathic clinic before.
In last 12 years I have seen many good changes at M2C at clinic level and latest technology level, Like development of online appointment system, website, M2C App, online payment system by different modes that makes convenience for the patients to come at clinic.
In past 12 years , I have attended almost all Thursday lectures given by Dr Vijay Shah, initially as a CME where other outsided drs were also invited to attend Thursday discussions and recently since past few yrs only with M2C doctors.
Every time I have learnt new things from Dr Vijay Shah about homeopathic philosophy, material medica and evaluating medical science during Thursday lectures, so It was helpful for improving my knowledge and for self development as homeopath.
During Thursday discussions learnt many topics and also applying when seeing patients and M2C and on my personnel patients too.
Topics like, How to take detailed case (homeopathic case taking), Making Analysis, Posology, Probable similimum and arriving at final simillimum, Examination of external signs of psora as well as clinical systemic examination, How to take follow ups, Miasmatic materia medica, Use of repertory and rubrics, Theory of chronic dz, Organon and detailed explanation and understanding about aphorisms, How to find characteristics, how to take totality in diff types of dzs i.e, (Acute, chronic, mental, one sided, epidemic and paucity), gene expression and Homeopathy, homeopathy and molecular theory, theory of miasms,
How the dz develops into the body and how the cure takes place, hering’s law of cure is incorrect(explanation), Importance of physical examination, Treatment of epidemic dzs, especially during Covid-19 pandemic- treated so many cases with Camphora.
My own study: 1) Miasmatic MM as guided by sir, 2) OA of knee joint- pathophysiology and record of patients benefited with homeopathic Rx, 3) how to take characteristic studies, 4) Migraine remedies, 5) medorrhinum study and cases, 6) alopecia study, 7) study of psoriasis, 8) recent- repetition of the dose.
I have learnt from Dr Vijay Shah about
a) Dr Boneninghausen’s Approach (7 points about how to select remedy),
b) Dr Herings Approach (4 points i.e Tissues, Modalities, Sensation as if and Concomitants), out of all 4 if we get 3 symptoms then we can give sure results to patients both in acute and chronic dzs,
c)DR Hahnemann’s Individualisation approach (Doff Aphorisms explaining about how to select remedy and how to make analysis in diff cases.)
In treating so many cases applied this approach and getting very good results at clinic cases and even in my own practice.
Homeopathic philosophy about selection of remedy and repetition of dose in same potency, stirring, deviated and plussing potency.
About 2nd prescription, when to change the remedy.
Approach about follow ups- what to check and what is to consider.
Learned from Dr Vijay Shah about Luke Montagnier’s theory of water carrying memory: same applied with homeopathic medicines , that the high dilutions (used in homeopathy) are right. High dilutions of something are not nothing. They are water structures which mimic the original molecules."
About Dr Vijay Shah’s research about Dr Jayesh Bellare’s(From IIT) proving that‘Extreme homoeopathic dilutions retain starting materials: A nanoparticulate perspective’, as part of his doctoral thesis. Also understood and able to explain patient that homeopathic medicines doesn’t contain any steroids and not placebo also.
I have also learnt how to take the totality in Acute follow ups: Collection of acute symptoms, their ODP, modalities, characteristic physical generals (Thirst, appetite, sleep, perspiration, desires if any specific), changed disposition and reaction of the patient in acute, observation by physician and by patients relatives, peculiar mentals with acute and in
Chronic follow ups: checking for external signs and previously examined signs are better or not, physical generals improved or not, patients mentals are improved or not.
With this homeopathic philosophy and application, I have seen many acute and chronic cases were responded well with the treatment and also cure.
Seen Results in Pediatric cases like acute and chronic bronchitis, Diarrhoea, undiagnosed pain in abd, constipation, acute fevers, Eczema, Psoriasis, Auto immune dzs like RA, SLE, Sjogrens, MS, Myopathies, Parkinson’s, Incurable cases in allopathy like Lichen planus, PCOD, Menorrhagia, Ulcerative Colitis, Alopecia and few cases of Vitiligo responded well with homeopathy at M2C.
acute Infections like- Dengue, Chikunguniya, Malaria, fevers, Herpes, Covid, Injuries, fractures, abscesses, Nonhealing wounds, management of Diabetic foot, Paronychia. Mental dzs like- schizophrenia, depression(well controlled), old age complaints- constipation, Sleeplessness and asthenia. Surgical cases: Anal fistula, hemorrhoids, etc..
Management of Cancers, tumors, cirrhosis of liver, autoimmune thyroiditis.
I may be poor at social media, but trying my best to learn it and on the basis of that taking reviews of patients and post on social media.
Most of the time not getting enough time to do the above things.
I can definitely say that my confidence has improved after joined M2C and working with Dr Vijay Shah and Dr Trupti mam as well, now I can take decisions in making prescription as well as talking with patients confidently.
